SAMPLES OF WOODS AND WOOD FINISHES
You may request samples for any of the woods used for shelves , such as birch, maple, red oak, white oak, cherry, or walnut, as well as samples of any of the woods used for vertical supports.
You may also request samples of any of our
wood finishes , such as unfinished (raw wood), clear lacquer, colored lacquer (black and white), or stained & lacquered finishes.
You may select a stain from any of the color charts available at major home centers. Links are given below to color charts for MinWax and Olympic stains.
You may specify which wood/finish combinations (wood and finish on same sample) you want to receive. Any of the samples we have in stock will be sent to you free of charge. If you request a specific wood/finish combination and we don’t have it available, we will notify you and ask if you want us to send to you either:
Alternative Sample Combinations
Samples will be sent with similarly-colored woods and finishes, if available, for free or
Exact Sample Combinations Specified
Samples will be sent of up to three different combinations of wood and stain specified for a $20.00 fee. When you order shelving, the fee charged for the samples will be credited to your order.
