ORDERING INFORMATION


This page provides an explanation of the ordering process – what needs to be done before an order can be placed, how an order is placed, and a description of what happens after the placement of your order.




BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER

Before you place an order, you first must request a price quote for your shelving unit design and agree to the price quoted by HouseWerks' "Quick Quote" price calculator program.

If possible, have an idea of how many shelves you want and the dimensions of each shelf. If the shelves are of different length, have the dimensions available before you fill out the Price Quote Calculator form. The form consists of approximately 20 questions. After submitting your form, you will receive your price quote by e-mail within five minutes. If Internet traffic is heavy, you may have to wait longer.




PLACING YOUR ORDER

If you are satisfied with the design and the price of the shelving unit and you are ready to place your order, please call HouseWerks at:

AFTER YOUR ORDER IS PLACED

After HouseWerks receives your order, you will receive an e-mail with an invoice for your shelving order and a link for paying a non-refundable Materials Deposit.

The Materials Deposit is calculated as a percentage of the total price of the order. The percentage is determined by the shelving options selected and the total price of your shelving unit. Online payments are made using PayPal. If other payment arrangements need to be made, please contact HouseWerks before you place your order to assure that we agree to your payment plan and that your order can proceed.

Your order will be added to the construction schedule after we have been notified that your Materials Deposit payment has been received. HouseWerks will send you an e-mail within 24 hours verifying that your payment has been received and that your order has been placed on HouseWerks' production schedule.

The amount of time required for the completion of your order may vary from three weeks up to eight weeks. Completion time depends upon the number of orders ahead of yours, the size of the orders ahead of yours, and the size of your order.

Within a several days after receipt of the Materials Deposit, detailed specifications of the shelving unit that you ordered will be sent to you by e-mail. You need to review and verify all measurements and options selected. All changes to the specifications must be sent by e-mail. HouseWerks will reissue the specifications, noting the changes made, each time you make changes. When work on your order begins, the shelving will be built according the specifications to which you have agreed.




AFTER YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED

After your shelving unit has been completed, photographs are taken of your shelving and posted on the HouseWerks website in your subdirectory, which is your e-mail name. You would then receive an e-mail containing links to the photos, a final invoice, and a link to make your final payment of the balance of your order.

When HouseWerks receives the payment, your order will be packed and scheduled for pickup by DHL Freight within 48 hours. Your shelving order will arrive at your door within 4-7 business days, depending upon the distance between the delivery address and Knoxville, Tennessee. Longer delivery times should be expected during holidays and during periods of bad weather.




INSTALLING YOUR SHELVES

HouseWerks has easy to follow installation instructions (both textual and visual) on HouseWerks’ web site. Help desk staff can be available seven days a week until 9 PM Eastern Time Zone to guide you through the installation process. We have not yet had a customer who was unable to install a HouseWerks shelving unit. We will talk you through every step of the installation on the phone, if needed.
