TOEKICK BOARD OPTIONS
FOR SOLID WOOD
You may choose any of the solid woods listed below for your toekick boards. All boards are approximately 0.75" thick.
Poplar and Red Oak are available up to 12" in height (width). For all other woods, heights greater than 7" are subject to availability.
CALCULATING THE PRICE OF TOEKICK BOARDS
For the example, assume the following:
(1) Red Oak has been selected as the wood for the toekick boards,
(2) the front toekick board is to be 7.5" in height and 80" in length, and
(3) the two side toekick boards are to be 7.5" in height and 11.5" in length.
Front Board (7.5" X 80.0") ........ = 600.00 square inches
Side Board (7.5 X 11.5") ............ = 86.25 square inches
Side Board (7.5 X 11.5") ............ = 86.25 square inches
TOTAL AREA OF WOOD ............. = 772.50 square inches
[772.5 square inches/144 = 5.36 square feet]
Price of Red Oak per square foot = $9.95
TOTAL PRICE (5.36 X $9.95) = $53.33
